NO, YOU DON'T HAVE TO STOP SMOKING
We help people to stop smoking, but we also help heavy smokers to become light smokers – IF THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT. We have a book on this subject, and there are lots of pages you can read for free. You might be interested to do it before you come to our Neath Port Talbot hypnosis branch. Here’s a very small taster.
….. So now let’s look at the difference between getting ten percent of smokers to stop and getting all smokers to smoke ten percent fewer cigarettes. As you are going to be learning in this book, smoking fewer cigarettes is easier than stopping. Actually, that sounds so blindingly obvious I feel almost embarrassed saying it. Almost, note. I don’t think it will surprise you that smoking less is easier than stopping. After all, many people smoke different amounts on different days, depending on the circumstances (work days as against weekends, for example) and they do that without any effort at all. They do it, in fact without trying. Actually, they do it without thinking. They just do it. And I mean lots of people. Maybe even you. Now, ask those people who smoke less some days to STOP SMOKING and I think like me you will be expecting a sharp rebuke, if not a smack in the mouth. Stopping smoking has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with what they are doing by smoking less some days.
