NO, YOU DON'T HAVE TO STOP SMOKING
We help people to stop smoking, but we also help heavy smokers to become light smokers – IF THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT. We have a book on this subject, and there are lots of pages you can read for free. You might be interested to do this before you come to our Bangor hypnosis branch. Here is a taster.
….. As well as the reasons I’ve just been through in the previous chapter, there is another, but before I come to that I want to iterate, or reiterate even, something from the previous chapter.
I listed all the reasons why cutting down is a good idea, and I trust, sincerely, that you now believe the argument completely. However, there are still lots of people out there who don’t. Some of them are the doom-mongers who say you mustn’t cut down, for the various reasons I said they say, and some are smokers who believe all that stuff so they don’t even consider cutting down.
I want you to smoke less because smoking less will be good for you, but I also want you to smoke less because it will do two other things. It will prove the doom-mongers wrong (and when this book becomes a best seller we will be proving the point together), and it will encourage smokers who believe the myths about not cutting down to think, by which I mean think about the issues you have read so far. If we achieve that, you and me together, me by saying these things and you by putting them into action, we can change the impact of smoking on human health worldwide.
Just think about that.
