THE NSCI STOP SMOKING HANDBOOK
Before booking with our Swaffham hypnotherapist, you should read the free sample pages on our website.
Here is a very small taster:
….. I know this because so many smokers tell us about their previous failed attempts in language that is quite instructive. They say I did so and so but it didn’t work. Didn’t work? What on Earth does that mean? They’re under the control of nicotine so they buy some product or service which promises to give them back control, but in fact they can take back control when they want. If you buy something that is supposed to give you control, but you do absolutely nothing about exercising your right to make your own decisions, well excuse me but you deserve to fail and you also deserve to waste the money you just spent.
Look, let me put this another way. Imagine a woman has an abusive husband. She makes excuses for him. He only hits me, she says, when he’s drunk, and that’s only once a day. He loves me really. He says so.
He says so? Oh, well that’s alright then, it must be true. The poor woman is being abused and the worst abuse is that her husband has prevented her from seeing that she’s being abused. That is true control, and it’s how drugs work. They beat you up but then they tell you they love you and you believe them because, remember, your brain has turned to mush.
