We are unable to provide acupuncture on the North Yorkshire coast at present. As and when this changes, we shall update this page.

NO, YOU DON'T HAVE TO STOP SMOKING
Sometimes, people come to us not to stop smoking but for smoking reduction. It’s a choice they make, and we publish a book on reduction. ‘No, You Don’t Have to Stop Smoking’ will be of interest even if you do want to stop completely. Why not take a look at it before you visit our Whitby hypnosis branch. Here is a little taster to get you started.
….. OK, OK, I know what you’re thinking, that there are lots of cigarettes you light out of habit and nothing more and yes, alright, if you absolutely insist, I will concede that point. In fact I will throw the point back at you. Lots of the cigarettes you smoke are not because you have a craving for tobacco, they are smoked without any good reason. Think about the times you smoke purely out of habit:
When you put the kettle on
When you make a phone call
When you’ve finished a job
After a meal
and so on.
The purpose of this book is, as I expect I have said before, to show you how to alter your relationship with tobacco. That relationship is to some extent defined by the occasions when you smoke, like the short list above, and it is reasonable to say this pattern of smoking represents your smoking habit.
