Most clients stop in a single session, but a free follow-up is provided within three months in the event that you have a problem. Our Leamington hypnotherapist has bookings from Monday to Saturday, and you can also be seen in the evening.
This is an inclusive fee, giving you three treatments. We find this is ample for most patients to stop smoking completely.
We hope to bring AM to Warwickshire by the end of 2017.

A SHORT CASE HISTORY
From our Leamington hypnotherapy branch
Kim had been to us before for hypnosis. She rang to ask about having it, and it came out in the conversation that she had been to our Leamington hypnotherapy branch five years ago. Naturally, we wanted to know what had happened. Had she stopped smoking? If not why not? If she had, when did she start again, and why?
She answered all of our questions. After seeing our Leamington hypnotist, she found it surprisingly easy to stop smoking. It just happened, and she wasn’t sure why. That, we thought, may have been part of the problem. Paradoxically, the easier it is to stop the easier it can be to start again.
So, as we say, she came to our Leamington hypnotherapist and walked out a non-smoker. And she stayed stopped for a long time, almost two years. Why she started again isn’t part of this story, but it was for the usual reasons. The mistake she made was to carry on smoking. She had been really pleased to have stopped, and here she was not stopping again. That, again, is sadly common.
The next mistake Kim made was not coming back to see our Leamington hypnotist again. She had stopped with hypnosis before, so logically she should simply have it again. But for whatever reason it didn’t occur to her. That might have been that she didn’t understand how her hypnotherapy had worked. What she did was go to her GP and ask for his help. He, of course, put her on an NRP. When that didn’t help he put her on another one. And when that didn’t work he prescribed Champix. And when that didn’t work it still didn’t occur to Kim to have hypnosis again.
It was only when a friend had hypnotherapy to stop smoking and recommended it to Kim that it even occurred to her to have it. She came to our Leamington hypnotherapy branch and stopped again, as easily as she did the first time. We hope she has learned some lessons over these years. But then perhaps the most important lesson is not starting smoking again!
NO, YOU DON'T HAVE TO STOP SMOKING
Sometimes, people come to us not to stop smoking but for smoking reduction. It’s a choice they make. We publish a book on reduction. It’s called, No, You Don’t Have to Stop Smoking. You might be interested to read some of it before you visit our Leamington hypnotist or acupuncturist. Here is a taster.
It will help you to believe in stopping completely (oops!)
I know, I know, this is not a book about stopping smoking. You probably wouldn’t be reading it if it were. But let me just say this, and then we can forget I said it.
The reason you are reading a book about reducing your smoking is not because you have been looking for this information for years and suddenly come across this book, but because, I’m guessing, you’ve been thinking for years about stopping smoking, probably you have made various failed attempts, and here you are, you find a book that says no, you don’t have to stop smoking, and hey, this is a lot less scary than the books that say oh yes you do.
However, the fact that you are reading this does not alter the fact that deep down a bit of you really would like to stop smoking completely. Let’s not worry about that for now, but do let’s accept the fact the once you have gained control over the amount you smoke, which is something that has perhaps never even occurred to you to do, and even if it had you never would have thought it possible but here you are doing exactly that, a profound change could come over you. You could see that stopping is actually possible. Don’t think that way now, but neither should you reject the idea. It might take a year, it might take ten years of being a light smoker, even a light smoker who is happy being a light smoker and doesn’t think about being a non-smoker, but the fact is that the longer you spend being a light smoker the more comfortable you are going to be, at some time (when you are ready), to stop.
My point here is that this is another reason for cutting down. It might not be an issue now, or indeed ever, but that doesn’t alter the fact that cutting down is a really really positive thing to do.
