The fear of stopping smoking

I’m not being priggish when I say this, I’m just making a point. Fear is one of the most powerful motivating emotions a human will ever have. It is, for an industry that has a product to sell, an emotion they cannot afford to ignore. Fear is what keeps people smoking. And that brings me nicely back to my statement at the start of this tutorial, that there are three ways dependence works.
