OUR GUARANTEED AFTERCARE SERVICE

When you have seen our Solihull hypnotherapist or acupuncturist we will enrol you in our NSSC AfterCare programme. The support that comes with each therapy is different, although in each case it provides access to our unlimited help by telephone counselling.

Solihull Hypnotherapy AfterCare

This gives three years of support. We strongly advise you to call the helpdesk the day after your session. We will talk through how the session went, how you feel right now, and what, if anything, else we need to do.

A STOP-SMOKING TIP

If you have failed to stop smoking there is one issue that’s going to help to know about before you see our Solihull hypnotist or acupuncturist. There is a food that can make you crave a cigarette, and this food is tomato.

Here’s why. The tomato and tobacco plants are from the same plant family, which is nightshade. Being related means some of their molecules are the same. If you eat tomato in the first few days after stopping smoking your body might recognise a tomato molecule as tobacco. In that case the tomato is  mimicking tobacco.

Some people think this might actually be a good thing. They ask us if they can use tomato as a nicotine replacement product. In fact they are right in a way. Just like an NRP, whose job is to maintain yous addiction, tomato can also do that. It’s important not to use an NRP after seeing our hypnotist or acupuncturist in Solihull, and it’s important not to eat tomato. The list includes ketchup and tomato soup, of course, but also any pasta sauce, pizza topping and baked beans. In fact anything Italian. It’s only for a few days after your last tobacco, so do it.

If you have any questions about this, or any other stop-smoking matter, call our national advice service on 01200 40 50 22.
