OUR GUARANTEED AFTERCARE SERVICE

When you have seen our Sevenoaks hypnotherapist or acupuncturist we will enrol you in our NSSC AfterCare programme. The support that comes with each therapy is different, although in each case it provides access to our unlimited help by telephone counselling.

Sevenoaks Hypnotherapy AfterCare

This gives three years of support. We strongly advise you to call the helpdesk the day after your session. We will talk through how the session went, how you feel right now, and what, if anything, else we need to do.

THE NSCI STOP SMOKING HANDBOOK

Here’s a snippet from the book. There are lots of pages you can read for free. We suggest you do this before you come to our Sevenoaks hypnosis or acupuncture service.

Some futurology

Drug companies would love to create a vaccine for nicotine (largely because they perceive the neutrogen we use as a vaccine, which it actually isn’t) and several of them are currently working on one. The problem they have is that you can’t create a vaccine for a poison. Vaccines are for viruses and bacteria, and nicotine is obviously neither, so how can they resolve this problem?

Our understanding is that they have genetically modified the cholera bacterium to get it to absorb a molecule of nicotine. This, they theorise, will, if injected into the body, stimulate the production of antibodies to the combined bacterium/poison. If they succeed it will be a consid-erable scientific achievement.

It is hard to see what the point would be, though. The theory is that this ‘vaccine’, when injected, would confer immunity to tobacco, and they will want therefore to inject children with it to prevent them liking tobacco if they try smoking it. The point is, though, that children DON’T like tobacco when they first smoke it. This is because tobacco is poisonous – and the body is born with a natural immunity to poisons.

The pursuit of profit is all very well, but is this science gone mad?

OTHER SEVENOAKS STOP SMOKING RESOURCES

Therapy might not be what you’re looking for. If it isn’t, and you want to take pharmaceutical products to stop smoking, we suggest you see your GP.. You can also visit the NHS Kent website here.
